Decluttering your kids toys can be helpful for both you and your children. Involving them in this process can help to teach them a variety of skills including organization, placing less importance on physical things and the process of keeping a tidy space.

If you can’t involve your children in the process, be sure to help them understand why this is important to do so they can potentially help in the future.

Before you start, always set a goal for your space and ensure to keep routine maintenance to your space to keep your system in place. The goal is not to get rid of all the toys, but rather to create a manageable environment that encourages creativity and imaginative play.
